At M2 Shopfitters, we understand that your shop/restaurant/cafe/office is the lifeblood of your business – the place where the magic happens – and so we recognise that it is imperative to have as little down time as possible. We also realise that you will still be busy working on other areas of your business throughout the fitout process, and so we aim to make your journey with us as stress-free as possible.
We love helping our clients along their shopfitting journey and take great pride in being their shopfitter of choice. We can provide single joinery units, right through to full fitout packages, working hand-in-hand with everyone involved in your fitout, from designers and architects, to sub-trades (electricians, plumbers etc), certifiers and inspectors. With our own in-house project managers, we work hard to ensure your journey with us is seamless.
All of our cabinetry and joinery components are made in our own factory, giving us greater quality control over the finished product. We work closely with a wide range of suppliers and are able to source a few or all aspects of our clients’ fitout, including: furnishings, lighting, electrical, catering equipment, appliances, plumbing, fixtures, upholstery, flooring, painting, stainless steel etc.
What makes a perfect fitout?
Purpose, planning and persistence
In that order.
It all begins with purpose, which is something that we feel strongly about. We thrive off hearing about a passion, an idea, a dream, and how it evolves into a sense of purpose, forming the foundations upon which your business is built. Every business fulfils a purpose, and this purpose is what drives your business forward. We strongly believe in the potential and the purpose of your business – it motivates and inspires us!
Your fitout is a physical reflection of your purpose, a tangible representation of your core motivation. Your fitout is there for all to see. It works to attract your ideal customers and clientele. Your fitout serves your purpose.
Recognise your purpose, plan your fitout and persist until it’s perfect.
Four core principles
Keeping it real
We have developed four key underpinnings, which guide all of our dealings with clients:
We strive to provide a high level of customer service to our clients. This means focusing on open communication, being honest and fair, showing respect and building successful relationships.
All our clients expect value for money, and rightly so. M2 Shopfitters aims to provide quality products and exceptional service for a reasonable and justifiable price. Setting budgets and pre-costing the project also means that our clients can have all the figures in front of them before work even begins.
In business, time is money. We have a firm understanding of this concept and work hard to adhere to the pre-set project time frames. All our M2 Team members work together to meet deadlines so that our clients can have minimal interruption to their business operations.
Safety applies to everyone, with no exceptions. The safety of our clients, the safety of their customers, and the safety of our M2 Team members is of utmost importance. We endeavor to continually work towards providing safe work Sites and a safe factory.

Our special interests
Foodies at heart
M2 Shopfitters have developed a keen special interest in foodservice and hospitality fitouts. M2‘s managing directors (Matthew Kingsman and Matthew Green) have spent many years around people who are passionately involved in these industries. Alongside our M2 Team members, they are all committed to continually building their knowledge and expertise in this area. We feel that the foodservice and hospitality industries offer diversity and present their own unique challenges. They require knowledge in relation to council approvals, health and building codes, sanitary and food hygiene standards and tailored shopfitting processes and techniques.

Small business, big ideas
We love small businesses! M2 started with the 3 co-owners and an apprentice, a couple of tool boxes and camping tables as a reception desk. Now a small-mid size business, we appreciate the level of devotion and energy that goes into creating and growing a business from the ground, up. We appreciate that small businesses can often have the biggest ideas. If you’ve got ideas, speak up. Part of our job is to listen to your ideas and help make them a reality. We’ve got some exciting plans underway for small businesses, including financing options and amazing value-adds. We look forward to sharing these developments with you in the near future. Stay tuned!
